Contraception
Methods of contraception
For more information about other methods of contraception, download our leaflets.
Watch videos about contraceptive choices featuring Black Voices, including the coil, long-acting reversible injection, patch, progestogen only pill (POP), combined hormonal pill and condoms, and the pros and cons of these different contraception methods.
Please note that iCaSH services are only able to fit and/or remove IUDs (coils) when used for contraception. Unfortunately, we are unable to undertake IUD (coil) fitting and/or removal when the device is used for non-contraceptive purposes such as heavy menstrual bleeding or as part of hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Please see your GP where this is the case.
