Our services
Due to the coronavirus pandemic the delivery of services has changed. Our sit and wait services have been suspended until further notice and all patients are encouraged to contact us on 0300 300 3030 to book an appointment for an initial telephone consultation with a clinician. You will then be offered a face-to-face appointment if clinically indicated and where local lockdown is not active, as areas in local lockdown may be delivering reduced services. To check the situation at your local clinic, please contact us on 0300 300 3030.
Members of the public attending iCaSH in person will be required to wear a face covering.
If you are 16 years and over and have no symptoms but wish to access screening for sexually transmitted infections, you can use our online Express Test home testing service.
During COVID-19 due to the requirements of social distancing our capacity is reduced and there may be fewer appointments available for some services. This means that we are experiencing longer waits for some services, such as for routine implant or coil procedures and PrEP and we ask that you please bear with us and we will see you as soon as we can. If you would like an implant or coil, we advise you to call us on 0300 300 3030 so that we can add you to our waiting list. Once you are on this list, we will contact you when an appointment becomes available - you don’t need to call us. If you need alternative contraception in the meantime, please let us know when you call. If you already have an implant or coil and you would like any further information, please visit this web page.
Further information about contraception and sexually transmitted infections, including PrEP, can be found under the Contraception & Sexual Health tab above.
Please note that changes to services are dependent on the progress of the pandemic, national and local Public Health England advice and service capacity. Please keep checking our website for up-to-date information.
Please do not come to clinic if you have symptoms suggestive of COVID-19, such as a new continuous cough, high temperature or loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell or if you have come into contact with someone with coronavirus or coronavirus symptoms. Please visit www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19 for more information.
