Online Personal Development, Work and Skills Programme

by Portia Jackson | Nov 30, 2023

The Terrence Higgins Trust is running an online personal development, work and skills programme which aims to provide people living with HIV who are unemployed or in unsuitable work with work-ready workshops, peer support, online 1-2-1 mentoring, and support to access local training and volunteer opportunities. This is a national service available free-of-charge to anyone living in the UK.

The next work and skills programme will start in January 2024. This is a 3-month programme with part time commitment from participants. It aims to provide a safe, supportive and understanding environment in order for participants to grow, develop skills, learn from challenges and overcome personal barriers to work such as low self-esteem and confidence.

The closing date for applications of interest is Friday 15 December 2023. The next intake after that will start in April 2024.
